The Lai Thuong Communal House and Temple are built on the land of The Lai Village – an ancient settlement in Thuan Hoa region with over 500 years of history.
The 1,200m² premises face Southwest, overlooking Dong Ba canal. The impressive Triple-Gate features 4 tall square pillars and a pair of 1.8m tall cranes standing on turtle backs, creating a majestic appearance.
The Communal House follows the traditional three-compartment, two-wing wooden house style, measuring 12m x 9m. Decorative elements include the Four Sacred Animals, seasonal floral designs, and the Eight Precious Objects. The Village God Temple shares a similar architectural style with 36 wooden columns and elaborate decorations.
Recognized as a National Heritage Site under Decision No. 05/1999, this complex preserves valuable historical and cultural treasures of the ancient capital region.
